AT & T Technology, and future LTE 4G
The AT & T Mobility recently announced that it expects to launch commercial service by mid LTE 2011 and covers between 70 million and 75 COP million at the end of next year.
AT & T has been a bit slow with this release considering Sprint and clear and have been serving 52 markets with 4G WiMAX. Even Verizon's LTE 4G released this year in November. Why AT & T has been so slow? Corporate spokesmen say that instead of launching its own 4G network, like its competitors, have focused on improving its 3G HSPA network to allow downloading of up to 7.2Mbps.
