Acer Aspire One, is there a difference between 8.9 inches and 10.1 inches, plus the size of the screen?

Hi, nice name says it all. I am looking to buy a netbook and have been monitoring the acer aspire one. I'm starting to like the new 10.1-inch one, it looks very beautiful and professional display is really nice and bright. is worth the 10.1-inch or 8.9 inch a one? where I live, 8.9 is even sold with a price drop of about 80 dollars, but do not know if it's worth the extra money. Are there any advantages or disadvantages to each other?

I ordered this item because I travel a lot and something had to do basic computing and e-mail. This is the trick ... but is very slow and freezes a lot (I have to lug applications either!) I do not recommend this for people who need to use MS Office products or people who do not have the patience to wait for pages to download or things process. One of the best gifts I received

For several years I went laptop the laptop, but had similar problems. Were not really small enough and portable enough for my taste (and to those that had a price much greater than what I wanted). The battery life was not in the height and I wanted to be able to use it for long periods of time without plugging it in. Then I This Netbook Acer and was a lifesaver.

This unit is just the right size. It is so great that it becomes bulky and difficult to maintain in his lap, but is not so small you can not see anything or use the keyboard. I also realized that despite the publicity 6.5 hours of autonomy, I've been getting more than 8 hours beyond. I'm not a big fan of touch pads (nothing wrong with the one in this unit, just do not like touchpads in general) so I got The Wireless Mouse M305 and now everything is fine.

My only real complaint is that I would like to expand the amount of RAM and 4 GB, as this will ensure long service life. Obviously, netbooks are not meant to be a house of machinery and equipment that use this for my writing, updating web content, and surfing. I have a unit USB DVD, and I've seen movies on it without a problem (this drains the battery a little faster though) and any advanced computer functions I need, such as video editing, I use the desktop anyway with the big screen.

However, I have been pleased with this netbook.

I'm in love!

All I can say is that this was the best $ 300 I ever spent! I love this netbook. I can not rave about enough. I was one of those people who do not want a Blackberry, because the letters are too small. I love to read the files and attachments in full size instead of a handheld device the size of a deck of cards. However, a traditional laptop was too big and heavy for me to tote around. So this was the perfect compromise. It is lightweight and super compact and I have mine in ruby-red water! I use it for work (especially the basic documents and files ... no heavy graphics or huge data) and home (e-mails, facebook, youtube, etc) and am very impressed with the speed, memory and all the features (Especially the introductory trial period of Microsoft Office that comes free with purchase). I recommend this product.

I bought this for my little netbook Acer child 12 years of age. I love it! YOU CAN PLAY ONLINE GAMES WITH YOUR FRIENDS IN THE WHOLE COUNTRY, AND FOR YOUR SCHOOL. I bought the Acer Aspire One (D250-1185) for my son who is yougest freshman year of college. It is used non-stop and has no problem with that netbook be. My wife also has the same model (red) and has also been very satisfied with the performance of this great alternative to a larger laptop, more bulky, expensive and more complete. If a smaller lighter netbook is something that can be used then no consultation on the Acer Aspire One!

Lots of bang for the buck!

This is a fun little netbook. If you're a business, must take account of this. I bought mine from Woot.com for $ 225 shipped.

If you want something to do email and surf the Internet is perfect. But, do not buy this if you plan on running a business with him. It's slow at times and I do not think the processor has the power. I think the compromise of performance is well worth the portability.

6.5 hours battery (standard on this netbook) is a must have. I have three cell battery and no longer than 2 hours, an important limitation to go or convenient mobile use around the house.

I do not get along well with trackpads so it has a bluetooth adapter and use a Bluetooth mouse without no problem. I also use my Bluetooth mobile phone to access the Internet anywhere there's 3G access. If you buy a model without Bluetooth, you can buy a USB 2.1 Micro Bluetooth Adapter for about $ 15-20. It's small enough to leave it all the time.

Mine has 1 GB of RAM. I confine to do email and browsing. Not sure if 2GB would make much difference. This model has a unique access panel for upgrading is easy. In present an update of 2 GB will cost around $ 50.00 and nobody, nobody, yes, you can.

Just what I needed!

I bought the Aspire One D250-1610 because to the good reviews on this site and have not been disappointed. I needed a netbook only for connectivity .... as an additional link to the Internet at home when all desktops were in use by children, or as a way to check my email while traveling, and this little beauty does everything quickly and easily. I was surprised how easy it was setting, and the netbook immediately recognized my home network. The connection is very fast.

I've only had the Aspire for 4 days, but I love ya! It is an ideal netbook for the price you pay!
