Why desktop intermittently lose connection to my WiFi router?
My desktop PC can sometimes lose the connection to my router WiFi. Can you surf the web and suddenly I connect to a page Time Out. Still shows an excellent connection between my PC and router. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the software for my USB WiFi adapter on my PC. The router is a Linksys WRT54G and it has been updated to the latest firmware. My PC connects to the router via a Linksys WUSB54G with last firmware. I have another laptop that connects wirelessly to a router itself, but I did not suffer any questions. I think that eliminates the router is bad. My PC is an old HP Running Windows XP SP2 loaded with the latest security fixes and patches. Ad-aware loaded with the latest version. Help? I forgot to say, once the connection drops if wait 5 to 10 minutes the connection is restored as if nothing had happened.
